However, our demonstration is the pride of the centre and we try our hardest to ensure it is available for our visitors. It pains us to think a visitor would leave disappointed, but the demonstration should be seen as an addition to our attraction, hence why it is included at no extra cost, and there would still have been plenty to see should you have still chosen to visit. If you had, I feel you would have been more understanding of the circumstances, as we are only a small centre with stretched resources. My colleague did offer you the opportunity to speak with me in the brooder room so I could show you our babies and explain the situation, which unfortunately you did not take up. As it was explained when you returned at 1:30pm - only one falconer (myself) was available on the day, and I was currently attending our babies. Typically, a shortened display will go ahead even with low attendance since the birds still need to be flown, however we do state on the website that we reserve the right to cancel the display with no prior notice and advise phoning ahead before visiting (we do not therefore consider it unfair advertisement to say otherwise). We're very sorry that we had to cancel the flying demonstration on the day of your visit, as it is exceptionally rare that one does not go ahead.
